#R1# Mullen shoots in but Wolf avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mullen shoots for a takedown but Wolf saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.#TD# Wolf throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mullen was covering up waiting for the punch and Wolf finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wolf wants to stand and escape but instead Mullen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB# Wolf is striking but Mullen is not phased and passes to half guard. Wolf gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wolf trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Wolf looking for a guillotine here but Mullen defends easily.
#T1# Mullen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Wolf is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mullen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Mullen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Mullen works over Wolf with some ground and pound from guard. Wolf could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wolf is trying to control the position but Mullen postures up. Wolf looking for a sweep. Not yet Wolf, not yet. Mullen landing with the ground and pound. Mullen trying to control but Wolf is working from the bottom. Mullen's corner is telling him to maintain position. Mullen wants to control from the top but Wolf keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.#SUB# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wolf working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mullen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mullen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #T3# Mullen working some strikes from top position.#SU2# Mullen stands and steps away. Wolf gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. #TD# Wolf looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Wolf is breathing heavily. Mullen pulls Wolf in to control the position. Mullen controls Wolf momentarily but Wolf frees himself. Mullen looking for a sweep. Not yet Mullen, not yet. Mullen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wolf manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Mullen looking to pass the guard. Wolf might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#T4# Wolf is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#SUB2# Mullen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mullen with a nice head shot there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mullen throwing strikes but missing. Mullen trying to control the position from guard on top but Wolf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pearse Mullen dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2##CL2# Mullen pushes Wolf up against the cage in a clinch. Wolf wants to break the clinch but can't.
#BC2# Mullen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mullen misses with a wild combination.
Mullen lands an overhand right. Mullen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Mullen misses with a head kick.

Wolf wants a takedown but no success here.
#BC2# Mullen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mullen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jamal Wolf is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mullen throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. #T1# Mullen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mullen swats away the attempt to clinch by Wolf. Mullen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wolf as he avoids it easily. Wolf tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mullen manages to circle out of the way. Mullen connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Wolf tumbling to the canvas! Mullen pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Wolf was done - good stoppage!
