#R1# Askren takes a head kick and keeps coming.
#CUT2# It looks like Ben Askren has been cut. Askren looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Snow lands a nice looking kick to the body. Askren takes a step back to recover. Snow with a body punch. A glancing blow. Snow lands a nice looking body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Askren crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Snow - the referee stops the clock and Askren gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Snow. Askren manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Snow moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.#ROC2# Askren is rocked! Snow lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Askren crumples to the floor! Snow milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

#R1# Rhodes shoots for a takedown but Golovkin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Golovkin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rhodes is fending him off so far but Golovkin persists. Nope, Rhodes circles away and we're back to standing. Golovkin with a poor takedown #CL# and Rhodes counters by moving into the clinch. #BC# Rhodes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Golovkin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rhodes tries to avoid it but Golovkin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rhodes to the ground. Rhodes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Randy Rhodes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gennady Golovkin. Golovkin tries to clinch up. Rhodes feinted with a counter takedown. No luck for Golovkin with that takedown attempt. #TD# Rhodes shoots in and bounces Golovkin off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Rhodes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. That was a close second round but I would say that Randy Rhodes will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters!
