#R1# Hadley shoots in and drives through. Roman sprawls well. Roman appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Hadley stuffs the takedown attempt from Roman. Roman gets slowly back to his feet. Hadley flicks out a counter leg kick but Roman steps away. Hadley throws a head kick but Roman moves out of range.
Roman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#CL# Roman closes the distance and pushes Hadley back into the cage. Roman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Roman tries to circle away but Hadley has him pinned against the cage. Hadley is pushing Roman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. #TD2# Hadley has hold of one of Roman's legs. Roman is fighting the takedown attempt but Hadley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hadley looking to pass the guard. #T1# Hadley sitting in guard, not really doing much. Roman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hadley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Roman is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hadley's corner is telling him to maintain position. Let's hope that Hadley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Roman is trying to control the position but Hadley postures up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Roman is pulling down on Hadley's head. It's preventing any offense from Hadley, at least for the moment.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Roman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Roman was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Hadley has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Roman.#CL# Roman has closed the distance and engaged Hadley in a clinch.
Roman tries a body shot but Hadley blocks it.
Hadley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roman blocks an uppercut.
#T3##BC2# Hadley breaks from the clinch.
#TD2# Hadley looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Roman!#SUB2# Hadley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hadley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! A lull in the action here as Hadley stalls from top position. Hadley works to advance to full mount. Roman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. #T4# Hadley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Roman looks a forlorn figure.
Hadley looking to control and managing it successfully. Hadley putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Hadley lands a big shot to the head and Roman winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
