Osgoode went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#TD# Osgoode scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Osgoode prevents Pipes from improving his position. Osgoode definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Osgoode wants to pass the guard but Pipes is defending well. Pipes moves into full guard.

Danga de danga de dang - Moyer scores with a four punch combination!#CUT# It looks like James Trenchard has been cut. Dennis Moyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trenchard shoots in for a takedown but Moyer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Moyer ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Moyer darts in looking for a takedown but Trenchard gets double underhooks and turns Moyer into the cage. Moyer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Trenchard circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Moyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown attempt by Trenchard or perhaps it was just good defense by Moyer, which made it look bad. Moyer tries to counter by clinching up but Trenchard breaks away and moves out of range. Moyer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trenchard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moyer somewhat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. #R1# Oneill defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alvaro. Oneill throwing a counter right hand but Alvaro manages to avoid it. Alvaro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Oneill counters with a one-two to the body. Alvaro looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Alvaro throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A low kick from Alvaro is predictable there and Oneill counters with a stiff right hand. Alvaro tries to clinch but Oneill moves away and Oneill counters with a leg kick. Alvaro looks to land a right hand but Oneill moved out of range. Oneill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD# Oneill closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Alvaro quickly recovers to half guard. Schultz is trying to push Moyer away but Moyer has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Schultz wants to get back to striking at distance but Moyer won't allow it.

Cross looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB2# Alvaro looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. You can see the frustration on Cross's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alvaro controls the position. Alvaro passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Cross! Cross holds of for dear life. Alvaro lands with some strikes. Alvaro content just to control the position here. Alvaro wants to control the pace but Cross is squirming around nicely. Alvaro working the ground and pound effectively.
