Gutierrez lands a jab.#TD# Gutierrez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fliphead to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fliphead slips nicely into half guard. Fliphead content to control rather than advance. Gutierrez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fliphead. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fliphead lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #T1# Fliphead looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Fliphead is pressing down on Gutierrez 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gutierrez is holding on for now. Gutierrez tries to roll over but Fliphead keeps him under control. Fliphead controlling the action here. It looked like Nosebreak was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mitchell. Mitchell connects with a jab. Mitchell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mitchell drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Nosebreak right on the button. Nosebreak goes down! Mitchell follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mitchell gets the win via TKO!

Kyo clobbers Lamphard with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kyo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rokurou Kyo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Kyo misses. Kyo misses with an uppercut. #KD# Kyo drops Lamphard with a beautiful combination! Lamphard stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kyo is looking for the KO! Lamphard is still on wobbly legs! Can Kyo finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kyo jabbing away but nothing is landing. A left lands for Lamphard. The fighters circle momentarily. Kyo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Lamphard tries to land a front kick but Kyo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kyo tests Lamphard's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kyo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Lamphard lands with an overhand left.#ROC2# Kyo is rocked! Kyo leaves his chin hanging out and Lamphard seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kyo crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Dugan tries to close the distance and clinch but Weiss swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Weiss tries to clinch there but Dugan circles away.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dugan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jamie Weiss.
