A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rowlands. Britt fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#CL2# Rowlands pushes Britt up against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Britt jumps guard but Rowlands turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. #TD# Britt manages to pull guard.

Britt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rowlands for as long as he can get away with. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Britt is taking a break and basically stalling. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ross tries to strike from the bottom.
