A shot to the liver by Durham. Beautiful body shot. Durham closes the distance and clinches up with Sampson, looking for a takedown. Durham pushes Sampson against the cage but Sampson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Durham is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Durham misses with a double jab.
#TD2# Durham closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Durham lands in his opponent's guard. Sampson wants to stand but Durham is controlling the position. Durham wants to pass the guard but Sampson is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sampson wants to stand up but Durham is controlling him. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. But no, Durham has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Durham can do anything to dispel that myth.
