#R1##TD2# Francis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.#ES# Francis has his feet on McGuiggin's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. #TD2# McGuiggin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Francis was covering up waiting for the punch and McGuiggin finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES# Francis pushes McGuiggin off and scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#TD2# Francis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McGuiggin to score an easy takedown into full guard. McGuiggin trying to control the position from guard on top but Francis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T1# McGuiggin is stalling in the full guard. Francis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McGuiggin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McGuiggin won't allow Francis to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGuiggin trying to control the position from guard on top but Francis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#CL# Francis moves into the clinch.#BC2# McGuiggin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McGuiggin misses with a wild body shot. McGuiggin misses with a jab, cross combination.
#CL2# McGuiggin forces Francis back against the cage and clinches.#TD2# McGuiggin jumps guard.
#T3# Francis wants to control from the top but McGuiggin keeps moving. McGuiggin wants to sweep here but Francis controlling him for the moment. #SU# Francis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #TD2# McGuiggin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Francis's guard.#ROC2# Francis is rocked! McGuiggin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McGuiggin passes Francis's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Oh Francis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! McGuiggin working Francis over with strikes. Francis wants to improve his position but McGuiggin is controlling well.
McGuiggin scores with a big shot! Francis's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Francis! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
