#R1# Walker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. #TD2# Walker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Walker is figuring out what he wants to do next. Maanantai trying to hold on to Walker's head to control him but Walker postures up.
Walker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#SUB# Maanantai is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Walker pulls his head out easily. Maanantai is trying to maintain the position but Walker is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maanantai wants to improve his position but Walker is controlling well.
Maanantai is not content to let Walker control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Maanantai tries to get to full guard but Walker has control of the leg. #SU2# Walker stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Nice jab there from Maanantai. Maanantai ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Walker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.#CUT# It looks like Colt Walker has been cut. Maanantai gets in close and tags Walker with a short punch that almost sends Walker to the mat! Oh Walker is in big trouble! He turns his back on Maanantai, trying to create some distance but Maanantai rushes him, striking wildly and Walker goes down! The referee tackles Maanantai into the cage to end the fight! Maanantai is one violent man!

#R1# Blachowski throws a head kick that half lands.
#CUT# It looks like Tick Boom has been cut. Blachowski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Boom throws a right and a left that Blachowski avoids nicely. Blachowski appears to be looking for a big counter. Boom swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Blachowski counter with a right hand. Boom throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Blachowski counters with a nice uppercut. Boom wants to clinch up but Blachowski keeps it at a distance. Blachowski appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Blachowski misses with a series of wild punches.
Boom unleashes a big counter combination but Blachowski bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. We've been told by Blachowski's head coaches at Roosters Coop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Blachowski avoids the body shot from Boom.
Blachowski appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Blachowski throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Boom's head.#ROC# Boom is rocked! Tick Boom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blachowski jabs at Boom's body. Boom looks winded! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blachowski cracks Boom with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Boom is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Boom is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Boom could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jan Blachowski! In his post fight interview, Jan Blachowski started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

#R1# Salah will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#TD# Salah closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Em's guard. Salah looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Salah is looking to stand up but Em won't let him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Em is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Em is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Salah might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Salah engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #T1# Salah seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Em for as long as he can get away with. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salah throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Em's waist but Em gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salah off to one side. Em feints the counter takedown.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Salah closes this distance looking for a takedown but Em circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohammed Salah. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salah tries to score a power double leg takedown but Em sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salah somewhat. Em keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Em tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#TD# Salah shoots in and bounces Em off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.#T3# Salah tries to stand but Em is controlling from the bottom. Em trying to control the position.

Em only half commits to the counter leg kick. Salah is trying hard to land a takedown here. Em sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And Em tries to counter it with a takedown but Salah pushes his down on his head and steps out. Salah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Em tries to avoid it but Salah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Em to the ground. Em escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohammed Salah. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salah. Salah shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Em sprawls well. Em wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salah gets slowly back to his feet. Em was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Salah is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Em's half guard.#T1# The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Em wants to control from the top but Salah keeps moving. A close second round but Em Em will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Mohammed Salah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Em trying to control but Salah is working from the bottom. Em pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Salah is keeping the position for now. #T3# Em pushing down on Salah's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Em takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Salah is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Em's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Em's back! Salah biding his time, controlling Em. #SUB# Salah is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

#R1# One tests Em's chin there with a solid looking shot.#CUT2# It looks like Em Em has been cut. One throws a jab when Em was well out of range. Em fires out a quick counter leg kick but One just manages to avoid it. A decent looking cross lands there for One. One misses with a double jab.
Em attempts a counter takedown but One avoids it well and moves away. One misses with a lunging right hand
#TD# and Em counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for One! One is looking to get back to his feet here but Em is keeping cool and he's managed to take One's back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB# One fending off the submission attempt from Em. #SUB# Em is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but One has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. #T1# Em is looking to control One but One is wriggling around and keeping busy. One tries to roll but Em sticks to his back.

Em is not going to allow One to sit and survive in this position. One is trying to break free.

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Liston misses the shot to the body. Em feints a counter leg kick. Liston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Em bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Em changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Em uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liston.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liston misses with a body shot
#TD2# and Em counters with a nice double leg into side control. Liston won't be happy with that. Em lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Liston down.
#T1# You can see the frustration on Liston's face as Em controls the position. Liston stops Em from passing to mount. Liston gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Em controlling from the full mount. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.#SUB2# Em is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Em extends the arm and Liston is forced to tap!

Wheeler fails with the takedown and Loco counters with a three punch combo that has Wheeler backing up. Wheeler nods at Loco to acknowledge the strikes. Juan Loco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Wheeler. Valdez is not content to let Bbq control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. But no, Valdez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bbq but great work by Valdez. #R1# Boom moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CUT2# It looks like Josiah Carrillo has been cut. Carrillo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.#TD2# Boom shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Carrillo napping and manages to drive through into side control!#ROC2# Carrillo is rocked!#SUB2# Boom is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carrillo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Oh Carrillo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Carrillo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SU2# Boom stands up and beckons Carrillo to his feet. A big right followed by a crushing left from Boom knocks Carrillo out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
