#R1##CL2# Csontos drives through and clinches with Sheppard against the cage.
#TD2# Csontos pulls guard successfully.
Csontos is wriggling around but Sheppard manages to pass to half guard.
Well, if Sheppard is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Csontos wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sheppard thows a huge punch but Csontos dodges it nicely.
Csontos looks like he's trying to stand up.
#T1# Sheppard sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Csontos defending well though. Sheppard missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Csontos is looking to escape. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sheppard controlling the action here.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Csontos throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sheppard's head. Csontos swats away the attempt to clinch by Sheppard. Sheppard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Csontos paws at him with a jab and circles away.#T2##CL# Sheppard takes the fight into the clinch. Csontos effectively controlling the action here.#TD2# Csontos has clasped his hands together around Sheppard's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Csontos throws an elbow but Sheppard slips to the side and avoids it well. Csontos misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Sheppard parries the strikes from Csontos easily there. Csontos is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sheppard to escape.
Csontos with the ground and pound but Sheppard regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Sheppard is not content to let Csontos control the position. Sheppard is trying to control but can't.
#T3# Sheppard tries to roll over but Csontos keeps him under control. Csontos wants to stand up but Sheppard is controlling the position.
Sheppard is not content to let Csontos control the position.#SUB2# Csontos seems to be working for a kimura but Sheppard defends the submission attempt. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Sheppard trying to control but Csontos postures up.
#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Csontos goes for a high kick. It partially lands.#CUT2# It looks like Dillon Sheppard has been cut. Csontos swats away the attempt to clinch by Sheppard. Sheppard avoids the head kick by Csontos.
Sheppard tries to close the distance and clinch but Csontos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Felix Csontos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Csontos throws a head kick that misses. #CL2# Csontos clinches up with Sheppard and pushes him back against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sheppard misses with a hook to the ribs.
#TD2# Csontos ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Csontos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Sheppard is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felix Csontos dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dillon Sheppard's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# Sheppard tries a head kick but it misses.
Csontos pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sheppard tries to clinch but Csontos is having none of it. Csontos throws a right and a left that both miss.#KD2# Csontos lands a big head kick that sends Sheppard tumbling to the mat! Csontos takes a step backwards and waves Sheppard back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2# Sheppard is rocked!#TD2# Csontos shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Csontos slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Csontos lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Felix Csontos! After the fight, Felix Csontos was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
