#R1# Janna throws a lazy head kick and Schneider counters with a nice low kick that buckles Janna's knee momentarily. Janna fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Janna just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromSchneider. Janna shoots in for a double leg but Schneider sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Janna shoots in for a takedown but Schneider shows good takedown defense. Zackary Schneider has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cody Janna. Janna dives in and grabs Schneider's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schneider pushes down on Janna's head and hops out. Janna tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Schneider defends well and Janna ends up having to push Schneider into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Janna throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Schneider counters with a nice body kick.

#TD# Schneider ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Schneider no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Schneider is pulling down on Janna's head. It's preventing any offense from Janna, at least for the moment.#T1# Janna not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Janna advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schneider bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cody Janna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Janna. #R1# CHivev feints and then cracks Reilly's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reilly down. CHivev throws a shot to the body.
#TD2# CHivev closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reilly tries to improve position but can't. Reilly is working hard here to advance position. CHivev throwing strikes but missing, from side control. #SUB2# CHivev is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reilly knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Reilly is looking for a sweep.#T1# Reilly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Reilly sneaks back into half guard. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mason Reilly. Well CHivev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
