#TD2# Grun throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Glass tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Grun is in Glass's guard. Grun throws an elbow that misses. Glass uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Grun's guard. Nice move by Glass!#REVR# Grun controls Glass momentarily but Glass frees himself. Grun is controlling Glass's posture. Glass has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Grun is proving hard to escape from. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glass content to stall in guard here. #T1# Grun throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Glass looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Glass manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Grun manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR##T4##SU# Glass stands and steps away. Grun gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. #TD2# Grun gets the takedown into side control. Grun looks winded! Glass is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Grun's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Grun thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Glass's head. Glass keeps control of the position for the meantime. Glass tries to roll over but Grun keeps him under control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Glass trying to hold on to Grun's head to control him but Grun postures up.

Houston Glass dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2##TD2# Glass gets caught flat footed, as Grun shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Grun must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Grun wants to control from the top but Glass keeps moving. Glass lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Glass wanted to stand there but Grun had control of the position. Glass controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glass seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Grun for as long as he can get away with.#T1##SU# Glass stands up from Grun's guard - Glass perhaps looking for a knockout. Grun lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Glass circles away quickly and effectively. Glass went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#TD2# Grun gets a takedown into half guard. Glass is trying to control but can't.
Glass is not content to let Grun control the position. Well, if Grun is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Glass regains full guard. Nicely done. #T2# Grun won't allow Glass to sweep him here. Glass keeping moving, preventing Grun from controlling successfully. Glass has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Glass is on top in guard.
#REVR# Glass prevents Grun from getting back to his feet. #SU# Glass decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Grun, up you get! #T3# Grun misses with a double jab.
Glass could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Grun is breathing heavily. Grun tries to close the distance and clinch up but Glass swats him away and circles back towards the center. Glass tries to counter with a takedown but Grun is quick to defend against it. Grun blocks a head kick by Glass.
The fighters circling - Grun throws out the jab but it was never going to land. As Grun tries to get set, Glass tries to push him back and clinch up but Grun manages to avoid the attempt.#TD2# Grun scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Grun is keen to just control but Glass is a slippery customer. Glass is looking to control Grun's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Glass avoid being mounted? Glass gets full guard. Glass is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#T4# Glass looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Glass is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Glass is looking for a kimura but Grun is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Glass to get the leverage. #SUB# Glass seems to be working for a kimura but Grun defends the submission attempt. Glass content to control rather than advance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This is the final round! #R3# Grun throws a series of punches but Glass avoids them all with ease. Grun looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jackson Grun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grun throws a head kick that misses. Glass is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Grun.#CL2# Grun forces Glass back against the cage and clinches.#BC2# Grun breaks from the clinch.
#TD2# Grun drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Glass manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Grun seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Glass does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Grun takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Grun throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Glass moves into full guard.
#T1# Grun would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Glass wants to stand and escape but Grun is having none of it. Grun won't allow Glass to sweep him here. #SUB# Glass looking for a triangle here. Grun is fighting it but it looks tight! Glass pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Grun is tapping out - this one is all over!
