#R1# Bullen goes for a double leg but Flowers avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Flowers continues to drive forward. Flowers was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Bullen misses with a takedown attempt - Flowers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Flowers seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Flowers takes a body punch but keeps moving. #CL# Flowers gets a clinch. #TD# Flowers gets control of Bullen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Flowers will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bullen is looking to work some ground and pound but Flowers has wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Owen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Armes is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Owen jumps into side control! Owen sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Armes is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
#SU# Owen decides to stand back up. Owen steps back and let's Armes get back to his feet. Armes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Armes with a flurry of punches that miss. Hammond throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wallace can't keep his opponent in guard - Hammond advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hammond slows the pace down in half guard. Hammond not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. #T1# Hammond is thwarting Wallace's attempts to control the position.
