Cox is defending well but Of Chios drives through and ends up in Cox's guard. Cox is looking to stand up but Of Chios isn't so interested in that idea. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cox is trying to keep Of Chios in close.
Cox wants to stand up but Of Chios is controlling him. #ES# Cox wriggles free and stands up. Of Chios looks to land a combination but Cox avoids it well. Cox seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Of Chios punishes Cox's body with a nice straight punch.#TD2# Of Chios shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Of Chios was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Of Chios creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cox sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. #T1# Of Chios lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Cox down.

Cox really is a fat lump. Of Chios wants to pass to mount but Cox is defending the position. Of Chios content to control rather than advance. Possibly an early stoppage but Cox doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harrell wants to control but SIlva is keeping busy and won't allow it.
