Gaines drops his hands for a split second and Dent immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Gaines face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Dent follows up with a right hand that knocks Gaines into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

#R1# Gaines shoots in looking for a takedown. Gunapala tries to sprawl out of it but Gaines keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gunapala manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gaines looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Gunapala connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gaines. Gaines circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Gunapala throws a shot from downtown. Gaines moves away and avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gunapala avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gunapala looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Gunapala throws the left hand but Gaines avoids the punch easily. Gunapala misses with an uppercut. Gaines uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gunapala. Gaines looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.#T1# A looping hook to the body misses from Gunapala. Gaines does a little dance to reset his feet. Gaines takes a body punch but keeps moving. Gunapala steps in with a hook that catches Gaines right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gunapala follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Gaines looks absolutely devastated.

Drake manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Stoll stopping the sweep attempt from Drake. Stoll is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Stoll's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#SU2# Stoll stands up and waves to Drake to follow him. Drake ducks under a wild hook from Stoll. Brandon Stoll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That's really hurt Drake and he's turned his back - Stoll keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Stoll jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
