Henry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Henry moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromCurwell. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice takedown defense from Curwell. No joy for Henry on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lenny Henry. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Curwell scores with a takedown into Henry's guard. Curwell is looking to stand up but Henry won't let him. #T1# Curwell trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. He's pushed Henry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Curwell feints the counter takedown. Henry fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Curwell throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Curwell leaves Henry with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. He catches Henry napping and manages to drive through into side control!#ES# Henry throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!#TD2# Curwell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Henry on his heels. He'll look to pass Henry's guard now, I'm sure. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Henry trying to control the position.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lenny Henry. I think Henry has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# MacConnelly wants to clinch up but Maxwell keeps it at a distance. Maxwell was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. MacConnelly tries to clinch but Maxwell is having none of it. Surly MacConnelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. MacConnelly lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ford tries for a takedown but Artois sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Ford. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ford looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Ford enables Artois to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ford manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Artois is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Artois sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. #R1# Cummings gets off balance looking for a body kick and Maxwell counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cummings's knee momentarily. Cummings fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Maxwell is out of range. Cummings misses with the combination.
Maxwell blocks a head kick by Cummings.
#CL# Cummings tries to keep at a distance but Maxwell has taken the fight into the clinch.#TD# Maxwell jumps guard and drags Cummings to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Maxwell lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR##SU# Maxwell stands and steps away.
