#R1# Bass avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Frank wants to clinch. A telegraphed right hand from Bass misses the target. Frank goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Frank is looking to clinch but Bass is avoiding it.
Bass tries to clinch but Frank moves out of range. As Bass tries to get set, Frank tries to push him back and clinch up but Bass manages to avoid the attempt. Bass dodges the punch combination from Frank.
Frank throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Frank swings for the body but Bass moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Bass closes the distance and clinches. Bass misses with a punch on the inside.
Frank wants to take the fight to the mat but Bass manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Bass lands with a right to the head. Bass working aggressively here.
Bass tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bass has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#T1##BC# Frank pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bass looks to clinch #TD# and Frank decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bass's guard. Bass working a defensive guard but Frank manages to pass into side control anyway.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Frank in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Frank working the ground and pound but Bass is defending the strikes. Bass throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
#SUB# Frank tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Frank has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bass tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Bass misses with an elbow from the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.#SU# Frank stands up. Frank tries to clinch but Bass is having none of it. Bass is looking to clinch. #T2# Bass wants to clinch up but Frank keeps it at a distance. Bass moves in looking to clinch but Frank pushes him off. Frank circles away from the clinch attempt.

Frank blocks a punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!#TD# Frank manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bass throws a big elbow that misses. Frank is controlling Bass's posture. Frank is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Bass really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frank. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bass taking some punishment here, with Frank in his half guard. #SUB2# Bass looking for submissions from an awkward position here.#SUB# Bass is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Frank has latched onto it... Big trouble! Frank pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Bass is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Frank!

#R1# Olsen missing with a left hand there. Lesie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lesie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Olsen sprawls well. Olsen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lesie gets slowly back to his feet. Lesie tries a head kick but it misses.
Lesie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lesie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Olsen tests Lesie's chin there with a solid looking shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Olsen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lesie sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Lesie fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Olsen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Olsen dodges the punch combination from Lesie.

A little feinted left hand from Olsen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Logan Olsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Lesie. Lesie throws a one two combo.
#CUT2# It looks like Logan Olsen has been cut. Lesie looks for a takedown but Olsen sprawls well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lesie. An attempted straight right counter from Olsen misses the target. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lesie. #T2# Lesie has his takedown stuffed and Olsen counters with a lovely straight right hand! Olsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lesie looks winded!#CL2# Lesie moves into the clinch successfully.

Olsen moves in looking to clinch but Lesie pushes him off. And Lesie tries to counter it with a takedown but Olsen pushes his down on his head and steps out. Lesie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Olsen pinned against the cage. Olsen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #T3# Olsen swings for the body but Lesie moves out of range.

#T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lesie lands a shoulder strike. Olsen is trying to force a seperation but Lesie has the dominant position. Olsen avoids a wild elbow strike from Lesie. Lesie prevents Olsen from breaking the clinch. Lesie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Lesie. Olsen is trying to break the clinch but Lesie is controlling him. Lesie leaning against his opponent.

The crowd are getting on Lesie's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Olsen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carl Lesie dominated that round. The cut man is working on Logan Olsen's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesie wants to pass the guard but Olsen is keeping the position.#T1# The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lesie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Carl Lesie seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lesie dives in and grabs Olsen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Olsen pushes down on Lesie's head and hops out. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lesie. Lesie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Olsen wants it to stay on the feet. Olsen fails with an attempt to clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Logan Olsen will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Logan Olsen's cut. That's the end of the interval. Lesie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SU2# Lesie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Lesie is trying to drag Olsen to the mat but Olsen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lesie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Olsen tries to pull guard but Lesie won't allow it.
