#R1##TD# De Barros darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. De Barros passes to side control. De Barros works to advance to full mount. Miller defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. De Barros controlling from mount. #SUB# Miller has left one of his arms exposed and De Barros doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Miller screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Rivers working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Strange's head. Strange really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rivers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Strange trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strange has momentary wrist control but Rivers slips an elbow through the middle. Rivers postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rivers looking to pass the guard. Rivers really is a fat lump.#ES2# Strange has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Rivers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strange avoids it really well and circles away. Despite the aggression on Strange's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Strange is defended easily by Rivers. Rocco Rivers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trouble Strange. Strange throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. As Strange backs away, Rivers returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.#T2# Rivers tries to clinch up. Strange throws a counter combo.#TD2# Strange scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. #ES# Rivers manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Strange keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. #TD# Rivers is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Strange can't fight it off and eventually Rivers manages to take the fight to the floor. Strange looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rivers postures up.

Rivers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brennan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brennan throwing strikes but missing. Gonzo has a closed guard, preventing Brennan from standing up. Gonzo looking for a sweep. Not yet Gonzo, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gonzo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Brennan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hatfield is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miller is controlling him. Miller passes Hatfield's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hatfield is positioning himself well to prevent Miller advancing to mount. Hatfield is staying active underneath Miller, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#ES# Hatfield kicks off Miller and gets to his feet. But no, Miller has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hatfield but great work by Miller.#SUB2# Miller tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Miller has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatfield wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#ES# Hatfield somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Nice sprawl there from Miller as Hatfield shoots in.#TD# Hatfield feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hatfield throws an elbow that misses. Miller uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hatfield's guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Miller pushes Hatfield off but Hatfield dives into side control.
A lull in the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hatfield postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB# Hatfield has hold of Miller's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Miller seems comfortable defending it but Hatfield has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Miller is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Miller is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hatfield couldn't care less - he's delighted!
