#R1# Cheem tries to clinch but Ramos is having none of it. Cheem fails in his attempt to clinch. #CL# Ramos darts in and clinches Cheem up against the cage. Ramos is pushing Cheem up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Cheem lands a knee to the head.
Ramos blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Cheem with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Cheem tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Cheem tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
#BC# Ramos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cheem tries to clinch there but Ramos circles away.
Ramos is looking to counter punch. What Cheem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramos swinging wildly here.

Cheem with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. #T1# Cheem tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ramos avoids it. Ramos tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Ramos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cheem after a bit of a struggle. Cheem tries to land knees in the clinch but Ramos avoids the damage to the body. Cheem looking to throw knees to the head but Ramos is blocking nicely.
Cheem lands a nice knee to the body. Ramos is breathing heavily. Cheem connects with a knee to the head.
#ROC2# Ramos is rocked! Cheem jerks Ramos's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Ramos drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Cheem goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Cheem because Ramos was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). What Cheem!
