#R1# Sessions tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wallace swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sessions shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#CL# Wallace clinches up with Sessions and pushes him back against the cage.#TD2# Sessions jumps into guard, dragging Wallace to the mat.
#SU# Wallace stands up from Sessions 's guard - Wallace perhaps looking for a knockout. Sessions shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #CL# and Wallace counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Wallace prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mike Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramon Sessions . Sessions is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wallace to keep the fight standing. Wallace could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace throws an elbow that misses.

Sessions has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wallace is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.#TD# Wallace successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sessions prevents Wallace from getting back to his feet. #T1# Sessions won't allow Wallace to sweep him here. Wallace pulls Sessions in to control the position. Wallace manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sessions manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR# Wallace is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Wallace has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wallace's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wallace won't allow Sessions to sweep him here. Wallace controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wallace has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wallace lands with a straight right. Sessions didn't see that one coming.#CUT# It looks like Ramon Sessions has been cut. Sessions avoids the body shot from Wallace.
Sessions steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wallace. Sessions has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Wallace shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sessions pinned against the cage. Sessions gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sessions dives in and grabs Wallace's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes down on Sessions 's head and hops out.#CL# Wallace darts in and clinches Sessions up against the cage.#T4# Wallace is pressed up against the cage. Sessions has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wallace down to the mat. Wallace avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wallace misses with a head kick.

Sessions being controlled here, momentarily. Wallace preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wallace slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sessions 's guard. Wallace looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sessions wants to sweep here but Wallace controlling him for the moment. Wallace content to stall in guard here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wallace throws a push kick but Sessions slaps the foot to one side. Sessions fails with a takedown attempt. #TD# Wallace shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sessions manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sessions is looking to stand back up but Wallace counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sessions . #REVB# Wallace passes to side control. Wallace creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sessions sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. #T3# Wallace controlling the position. #SUB# Wallace is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sessions has escaped the position, nice work there. Sessions stops Wallace from passing to mount. Wallace working away.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wallace taking a breather here. Sessions gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Wallace slows the pace down in half guard. Wallace prevents Sessions from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Wallace is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wallace shoots in but Sessions avoids the takedown attempt easily. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sessions ! But no joy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Wallace. Mike Wallace overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wallace is pulling down on Sessions 's head. It's preventing any offense from Sessions , at least for the moment. Wallace looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wallace keeping moving, preventing Sessions from controlling successfully. #ES# Wallace pushes Sessions off and scrambles back to his feet.
#T2# Wallace dives in for a single leg takedown but Sessions sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sessions tries to clinch up but Wallace circles away and keeps his distance.#CL2# Sessions clinches with his opponent.

Sessions throws a series of punches but Wallace avoids them all with ease. Wallace half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Sessions displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wallace. Sessions tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#TD2# Sessions drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wallace tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T3# Sessions wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving. Wallace looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sessions is one step ahead there. Wallace wants to control the position but Sessions says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Wallace gets full guard. Wallace keeping moving, preventing Sessions from controlling successfully. Wallace is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR##T4# Wallace throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sessions is looking to improve his position.
Wallace is taking a breather. Sessions says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Wallace. Well Wallace has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
