Hitman wants to get back to full guard. McStraws performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A quick step to the side and Mays tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Slugger has a takedown stuffed. Lamont Mays has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spencer Slugger. Slugger lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.#CL2# Slugger gets a clinch. Slugger has Mays pressed against the cage, preventing Mays from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Slugger drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mays pulls his leg out and moves away.
