#R1# Steele takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.#CUT2# It looks like Maximo Steele has been cut. Smith misses with an attempted mid kick.
#CL2# Smith gets in close and instigates a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Steele takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Steele stalling against the cage.
#BC2# Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith throws a body punch but Steele moves out of range. Steele looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith moves into range and connects with a jab. #ROC2# Steele is rocked! Steele takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Oh Steele is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Steele is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Drake keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Thomas's efforts to push away.#TD# Drake has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Thomas is trying to keep an underhook but Drake manages to get the takedown into half guard.#SUB# Drake is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Cutter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guerrero sprawls well. Guerrero wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cutter gets slowly back to his feet. Guerrero fails with a takedown attempt.
