Mason is trying to control the position but Simpson postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason wants to hit a switch here but Simpson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mason there! Mason is trying desperately to improve position.#T1# A nice elbow there by Simpson. Mason is trying desperately to improve position. Mason prevents Simpson from taking his back. Simpson working away from the top, dropping strikes. Simpson landing punches. Simpson prevents Mason from getting the reversal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is the final round! #R3##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Simpson. Mason tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Simpson has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Mason. Mason is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Mason's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

#SUB# Mason has hold of Simpson's leg, trying to break free but it's let Simpson lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Mason is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Simpson throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
