#R1# Zangief tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Zangief throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Talley swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.#CL2# Zangief closes the distance and clinches. Talley wants to break free but Zangief has control.
Zangief working hard to break the clinch. Talley tries to circle away but Zangief has him pinned against the cage. Zangief tries to land knees in the clinch but Talley avoids the damage to the body. Talley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zangief just stands there and leans against the cage.#TD2# Talley is fighting off a takedown attempt but Zangief is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Talley to the mat. Talley regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Zangief throws a big elbow that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's hope that Zangief has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Zangief throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Talley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Talley enables Zangief to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. He's got hold of a leg but Holmes swivels and escapes. Kotomine tries to clinch up but Holmes circles away and keeps his distance.#CL2# Kotomine clinches up against the cage. Holmes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kotomine to keep the fight standing. A nice glancing elbow lands by Kotomine. Kotomine wants to break free but Holmes has control.

Booth sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Emiya tries to score a power double leg takedown but Booth sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Emiya somewhat. Al Booth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kerry Emiya. Booth throws a sloppy head kick and Emiya moves out of range easily. And Emiya tries to counter it with a takedown but Booth pushes his down on his head and steps out. Emiya tries to score a power double leg takedown but Booth sees that one coming and sprawls well.
