Tommy Moody seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moody walks into a jab. Moody misses with a wild body shot. Moody loads up on a big right hand but Oliveira slips the punch. Moody thuds his right hand into Oliveira's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Moody uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Oliveira. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Moody. Moody misses with a short punch on the inside. Moody struggles to land a body shot inside as Oliveira controls his hands.

That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Shelton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Szewczyk slaps away a takedown attempt from Shelton, before circling back to the center of the mat. Shelton throws a right and a left that Szewczyk avoids nicely. Szewczyk throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Szewczyk sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Shelton's defenses. It connects perfectly with Shelton's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Duck tries to kick Dover off but Dover keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duck is looking to control Dover's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Duck avoid being mounted? Dover lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dover working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dover not landing any meaningful shots this time. Duck is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dover scores with a couple of nice shots. Oliveira cracks Betz with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Betz tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Oliveira pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Betz is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

#R1# Boss shoots in looking for a takedown. Bottom tries to sprawl out of it but Boss keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bottom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boss fails with a takedown attempt. Boss shoots in for a takedown but Bottom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rock Bottom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Final Boss. Bottom stuffs the takedown attempt from Boss. Boss gets slowly back to his feet. A solid leg kick lands there for Bottom.
Bottom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bottom lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Boss backs up against the cage.
Rock Bottom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boss moves out of range of the strikes. Boss avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Boss with the counter takedown but Bottom avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bottom fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bottom stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bottom fails to land with a series of punches.
Bottom scores with a hook to the body. Boss takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Danga de danga de dang - Bottom scores with a four punch combination! This has been an exciting period of action! A combination from Bottom does no damage. #T1##CL# Boss tries to keep at a distance but Bottom has taken the fight into the clinch. Boss is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bottom gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.#BC# Bottom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bottom cracks Boss with a right hand to the side of the head. Bottom throws a body shot but no joy. Boss shoots for a takedown but Bottom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Boss misses with a takedown attempt - Bottom sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bottom fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Boss on the side of the head. Bottom lands a jab. Boss slips a jab from Bottom. Bottom with a nice cross.#ROC#Boss is rocked! Bottom lands with a right that hurts Boss. Boss looks to clinch but Bottom throws a short knee that drops Boss. This one is all over!

Oops... bit sloppy there by Nolan. #REVB# Nolan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Magyar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nolan taking some punishment here, with Magyar in his half guard. Nolan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Magyar is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nolan is looking to improve his position.
