#R1# A head kick by Qary misses and Bathory makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Watin Qary seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bathory lands a nice leg kick that just misses Qary's sensitive parts. Qary tries for a takedown but Bathory circles away easily and Bathory counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bathory scores with a spinning back kick! Bathory cracks a nice hook into Qary's ribs. Bathory lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. We've been told by Bathory's head coaches at Tosen's Home for Lost Boys that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Bathory connects with an inside leg kick. Qary tries to clinch but Bathory moves out of range. A punch lands to the side of Qary 's head but he takes it in his stride. Bathory thuds a left hand into Qary's body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Qary looks to throw a body kick and Bathory counters with a slapping leg kick. Qary misses with a takedown and Bathory counters with a slapping leg kick. #T1# Bathory thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Qary if he has to take too many more of those.

Bathory connects with a body shot that sends Qary's belly button to the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bathory lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bathory feints and then cracks Qary's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Qary down. Qary darts in trying to clinch and Bathory counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bathory works Qary's body with a nice hook. Bathory scores with a spinning back kick! Qary takes a shot right to the bread basket. Qary takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Bathory scores with a head kick. Qary tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Bathory scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bathory swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Qary. Bathory lands a body shot.
Qary fails with the takedown and Bathory counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That kick from Bathory tenderised Qary's leg. Qary is trying to keep his angry face on. Bathory scores with a jab.#ROC# Qary is rocked! Bathory thumps Qary with a low kick. Bathory lands a nice looking body kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Bathory connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Qary tumbling to the canvas! Bathory pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Qary was done - good stoppage!

Massey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sanz defends it nicely. Massey closes the distance and clinches up with Sanz, looking for a takedown. Massey pushes Sanz against the cage but Sanz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sanz tries to bum rush Massey with a series of wild strikes but Massey uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Massey is looking to counter with a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Massey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sanz circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ezekiel Massey. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Sanz gets caught flat footed, as Massey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sanz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Massey shoots in for a takedown but Sanz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Massey shoots for a double leg takedown but Sanz sprawls well. He's pushed Massey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Massey darts in looking for a takedown but Sanz gets double underhooks and turns Massey into the cage. #CL2# Sanz moves into the clinch. Come on Massey - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

#R1# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kowalevitz.#TD# Qary gets the takedown into side control. Qary staying calm. Qary looks up at the clock and then as Kowalevitz takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Qary smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kowalevitz is looking to regain half guard here but Qary keeps moving and retains side control. Qary tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. You can see the frustration on Kowalevitz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Qary knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kowalevitz on the ground.#T1# Qary remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Kowalevitz is trying to control Qary's posture but Qary avoids it. Kowalevitz manages to get back to half guard. Qary really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves.
