#R1# Pretender lands with a shot to the body. Gruzinsky shoots in for a double leg but Pretender sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gruzinsky shoots in but Pretender avoids the takedown attempt easily. Gruzinsky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pretender can pounce on him.
Pretender connects with a solid leg kick. Pretender displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gruzinsky. The Pretender has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Gruzinsky. Nice sprawl there from Pretender as Gruzinsky shoots in. Pretender lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.#CUT#It looks like Roman Gruzinsky has been cut. Gruzinsky walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Gruzinsky tries for a takedown but Pretender sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gruzinsky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gruzinsky looks winded! Pretender scores with a push kick. Donk. Pretender catches Gruzinsky right on the button with a cross. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pretender Throws a clean left jab. Pretender Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Gruzinsky's chin! Gruzinsky crumbles to the ground and Pretender follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Pretender!

Begbie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. De Sucre rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Begbie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from De Sucre. Begbie throws a head kick but De Sucre moves out of range.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 5 losses; Bill Bright! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 5 losses; Sovor Trandel! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Bright fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trandel avoids it really well and circles away. Bright shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And Trandel tries to counter it with a takedown but Bright pushes his down on his head and steps out. Bright fails with an attempt to clinch.
