#R1##CL2# Pleat gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Williams misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pleat comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. #CUT2# It looks like Levon Williams has been cut. Pleat scores with an uppercut up the middle. Williams is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pleat gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. A nice glancing elbow lands by Pleat. Pleat managing to block the knees to the body from Williams.
Pleat pushes Williams against the cage. Pleat is working some dirty boxing. Pleat pushes off with a quick right hook! Williams goes down! Williams tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Pleat moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Pleat! A less than humble Rick Pleat misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

#R1# Harris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Austin Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Harris throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vance tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Harris is in Vance's guard.#ES# Vance has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Harris has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Vance tries for a takedown. No joy.
Harris effectively controlling the action here. Harris is pressed up against the cage. Vance has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harris down to the mat. Harris avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joel Vance. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2# Harris has closed the distance and engaged Vance in a clinch.
Vance is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Harris gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Harris.#TD2# Harris gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.#T1# Vance wants to control but Harris is keeping busy and won't allow it. Harris prevents Vance from improving his position. Vance is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Harris working Vance over with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vance tries to get to full guard but Harris has control of the leg. Vance wants to control but Harris is keeping busy.
Vance is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Harris tries to stand and escape but Vance is controlling the position. #SUB2# Harris looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Harris wants to pass to mount but Vance is defending the position. Vance is trying to control but can't.
Harris controlling the action here. Harris passes the guard and advances to mount! #T3# Vance is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Harris landing strikes from the mount. Harris controlling the position easily from mount. Harris pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Harris in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
#ROC2# Vance is rocked! Harris controlling from the full mount. Oh Vance is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Harris landing strikes, looking to finish! Harris postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Vance in real trouble here! The ref calls for Vance to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

#R1##CL2# Huxton moves into the clinch. Huxton is pushing Gregory up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Gregory working hard to break the clinch.#BC2# Huxton breaks the clinch.
Huxton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gregory as he avoids it easily. #TD2# Huxton manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gregory on his heels. He'll look to pass Gregory's guard now, I'm sure. Huxton is looking to work some ground and pound but Gregory has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gregory throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Huxton postures up in Gregory's guard and throws a big left but Gregory blocks it. Gregory looking for a sweep. Not yet Gregory, not yet. Huxton content to stall in guard here. Huxton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Huxton wants to control from the top but Gregory keeps moving. #T1# There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gregory is on top in guard.
#REVR##SUB# Gregory drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gregory jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gregory is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gregory trying to control the position from guard on top but Huxton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.#SUB# Gregory drops back, looking for a kneebar! Huxton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Huxton looks to have wriggled free... But no, Gregory has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Huxton but great work by Gregory. A close round but Joel Huxton will probably get the nod. That's time! Gregory's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. #R2# Huxton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. Huxton keeps control of Gregory as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Gregory looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Gregory is trying to break the clinch but Huxton has him pressed against the cage. Huxton slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #SUB2# Huxton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gregory manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Huxton has Gregory in his guard.#REVR# Huxton wants to control the position but Gregory says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Huey Gregory overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.#T2##SUB# Gregory has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Huxton defend it? Gregory steps over the head and cranks it - Huxton is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gregory!

Willis is pressing down on Rosales's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rosales is holding on for now. #SUB# Rosales is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Willis pulls his head out easily. Rosales is looking for a sweep. Willis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rosales is staying active underneath Willis, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rosales manages to get to full guard.
