Rowe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martinez on the ground.#REVR# Rowe trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Martinez manages to pass to mount!
Rowe wants to control but Martinez is having none of it.#SUB2# Rowe has left one of his arms exposed and Martinez doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Rowe screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Granns leaves Carroll with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#CL2# Granns has closed the distance and engaged Carroll in a clinch.

Granns presses Carroll against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.#BC2# Granns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Granns misses with a body kick. Granns tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carroll sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Granns somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carroll looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Granns is fending him off so far but Carroll persists. Nope, Granns circles away and we're back to standing. Granns misses with a straight left. Granns misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Granns lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Carroll drops down looking for an ankle pick but Granns pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2# Carroll tries to keep at a distance but Granns has taken the fight into the clinch. Granns pressing his opponent against the cage. Granns keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Carroll's efforts to push away. Granns has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Carroll is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.#T2# Granns working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Granns creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Granns lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Carroll or not. Carroll tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Carroll really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Granns prevents Carroll from breaking the clinch.#BC2# Granns breaks from the clinch.
Granns lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. #CUT2# It looks like Salvatore Carroll has been cut. Carroll has his takedown stuffed and Granns counters with a left right combination that sends Carroll crashing to the mat - Granns wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Carroll out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

#R1##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Korinoo. Fatu is looking for a sweep. Fatu is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Korinoo has just dragged him back down to the mat. The strikes coming from Korinoo are missing the target in this wave of attacks. #SUB# Korinoo swings around for an armbar but Fatu sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Korinoo's guard. Korinoo pulls Fatu in close to prevent any damage. Fatu trying to stand up but can't free himself from Korinoo's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fatu's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fatu trying to stand up but can't free himself from Korinoo's guard.#T1# Fatu engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fatu tries to stand but Korinoo is controlling from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Korinoo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Korinoo tries to get out of the position. Korinoo being controlled here, momentarily. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nice defenses there by Korinoo. Fatu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Korinoo. That one must have hurt. Fatu throws a series of punches but Korinoo avoids them all with ease. Korinoo attempts a counter takedown but Fatu avoids it well and moves away. Fatu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#T2##TD# Korinoo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Korinoo throwing strikes but Fatu manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Korinoo wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Korinoo is trying to improve his position. Fatu tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. #SU2# Fatu decides to take the fight back to the feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Korinoo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fatu as he avoids it easily. #T3# Fatu goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Korinoo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fatu. Horrible takedown attempt by Korinoo or perhaps it was just good defense by Fatu, which made it look bad. Despite the aggression on Fatu's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Korinoo is breathing heavily. Fatu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fatu wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinska Korinoo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fatu looks to score with a jab to the body but Korinoo is just out of range. Korinoo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fatu avoids it really well and circles away. Korinoo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fatu throws out the jab. The fighters circling - Fatu throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Korinoo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. #T4# Fatu misses with a few strikes there.
Korinoo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Fatu moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This has been an exciting period of action! A shot to the liver by Fatu. Beautiful body shot. Korinoo fails to land the takedown. Fatu throws an overhand right that lands on Korinoo's shoulder, as Korinoo tries to avoid the shot. Korinoo feinted with a counter takedown. Fatu lands a two punch combo.
Fatu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Korinoo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Korinoo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Fatu looks to land a left hand but Korinoo moved out of range nicely. Korinoo tries to counter with a takedown but Fatu is quick to defend against it. Fatu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Korinoo's hands. We've been informed that Fatu has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.#CL2# Fatu has closed the distance and engaged Korinoo in a clinch.

Samuel Fatu dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# Fatu punishes Korinoo's body with a nice straight punch. Fatu with a hook. Korinoo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
#CUT# It looks like Samuel Fatu has been cut. Korinoo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fatu moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Korinoo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Korinoo blocks a jab. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Fatu has eaten all the pies! A combination from Fatu does no damage. Fatu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Korinoo.
A left and a right from Fatu both land. Nice combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Korinoo misses with a two punch combination.

Fatu smells blood - he's punishing Korinoo with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Korinoo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Cid trying to control the position but Trujillo is working away. #SUB2# Cid working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
