#R1##TD2# Grimm dives in and scores a takedown into Hicks's guard.#SUB# Hicks is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Grimm is aware though and is defending well. Hicks keeping full guard, as Grimm tries to pass. Hicks is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#SUB2# Grimm is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hicks is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hicks has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR##SU# Hicks decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #TD2# Grimm looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hicks!#ES# Hicks throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!#T1# Grimm goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. #CL2# Grimm closes the distance and pushes Hicks back into the cage.#TD# Hicks drags the fight down to the ground.
Grimm must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Grimm looking to improve position, pressing down on Hicks's thigh with his hand. Hicks seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Grimm paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Grimm's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Hicks picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

#R1##TD2# Blaze looking to score a takedown here. Compton is defending well but Blaze drives through and ends up in Compton's guard. Blaze controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#SUB2# Blaze drops back, looking for a kneebar! Compton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Compton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Compton! #REVR# Compton landing a few strikes. Compton tries to stand but Blaze is controlling his head. Blaze is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Compton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T1# Compton tries to stand but Blaze is controlling his head. #SUB# Compton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blaze knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Blaze is looking for a sweep.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Compton cracks Blaze with a big elbow. Compton is working Blaze over with some ground and pound from side control. Compton just content to control the position. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.#T3##TD2# Blaze throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Compton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Blaze is in Compton's guard. Blaze looks winded!#SUB# Compton is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Blaze defends well. Compton is trying to control the position but Blaze postures up. Compton looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Compton is pulling down on Blaze's head. It's preventing any offense from Blaze, at least for the moment. Compton keeping moving, preventing Blaze from controlling successfully. #T4##SUB# Compton looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Blaze won't allow Compton to get back to his feet. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Blaze misses with a kick to the body #TD# and Compton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blaze won't be happy with that. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Compton staying calm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathaniel Compton dominated that round. That's time! Compton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. #R2# Compton fails with a takedown attempt. Compton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blaze's waist but Blaze gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Compton off to one side. #TD2# Blaze drives through with a takedown into Compton's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Blaze trying to control but Compton is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blaze trying to stand up but can't free himself from Compton's guard. Blaze's corner is telling him to maintain position.#T1# Blaze wants to stand but Compton is controlling his posture from full guard. Compton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blaze's guard. #REVR##SU# Compton decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #TD2# Blaze looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Blaze is breathing heavily. Blaze wants to control from the top but Compton keeps moving. #T2# Blaze being controlled here momentarily. Blaze wants to pass the guard but Compton is keeping the position.#T3# Compton has Blaze pulled in close to control his posture. Blaze trying to control the position from guard on top but Compton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Compton enables Blaze to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Compton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#ES# Compton manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. #T4# Blaze is trying to break the clinch but Compton has him pressed against the cage. #TD# Compton has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Blaze is trying to keep an underhook but Compton manages to get the takedown into half guard.#SU# Compton decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Compton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blaze swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathaniel Compton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blaze dodges the punch combination from Compton.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Compton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blaze swivels and escapes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#CL2# Blaze clinches. Compton is looking for a takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Johnny Blaze will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Compton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! #R3##TD2# Blaze drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Compton is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Compton looking for a sweep. Not yet Compton, not yet. Blaze trying to control but Compton is working from the bottom. #SUB# Blaze stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Compton has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Blaze manages to get his head free but now Compton has transitioned to an armbar! Blaze grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Compton! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
