Narkun gets slowly back to his feet. #TD2# Narkun shoots in and gets a takedown into Stepanovic's guard. Stepanovic looking to hit a scissor sweep but Narkun is one step ahead there. Stepanovic working a defensive guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Narkun throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stepanovic keeping full guard, as Narkun tries to pass. Stepanovic is looking to sweep but instead, Narkun has passed into half guard.
Stepanovic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Narkun on the ground. Narkun is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Stepanovic trying desperately to get to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Narkun is looking to advance position but Stepanovic won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Narkun is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. It looks like Narkun might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Narkun thows a huge punch but Stepanovic dodges it nicely.

#R1# Man tries for a takedown but Rourke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Man checks a leg kick nicely. Man fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#TD2# Rourke gets caught flat footed, as Man shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rourke looking for a sweep. Not yet Rourke, not yet. Man throws a strike but Rourke rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Man wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rourke is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rourke trying to control but Man is working from the bottom. Rourke controlling from the top position. #T1# Rourke looking to pass the guard. Man preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rourke works over Man with some ground and pound from guard. Rourke throwing strikes but missing. Rourke content to stall in guard here. #T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Man has momentary wrist control but Rourke slips an elbow through the middle. Rourke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rourke's corner. There ya go! There ya go! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Man is on top in guard.

Rourke landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. #T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Man is trying to escape the position but Rourke is controlling the position. Rourke wants to control but Man is keeping him busy. Rourke in side control lands a decent elbow. #CUT# That has opened up Skeng Man's cut even more. Man is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rourke connects with a decent elbow. #CUT# The cut above Skeng Man's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Rourke has knee on belly and moves into mount. Rourke landing strikes from the mount.#CUT# Skeng Man's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Skeng Man's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Nickel is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Barry scores with a couple of nice shots. Barry working the head and body with strikes. #R1##CL# Varadinov forces Kychenkov back against the cage and clinches. Varadinov is trying to break the clinch but Kychenkov is controlling him. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Varadinov. Kychenkov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Varadinov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Varadinov ducks under a wild hook from Kychenkov. Kychenkov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kychenkov there as he acknowledges the shot.#CL# Varadinov drives through and clinches with Kychenkov against the cage.
