No luck for Hoffman with that takedown attempt. Hoffman misses with a body shot.
Orsini fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Hoffman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Orsini. Hoffman is looking to clinch. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orsini wants to improve his position but Hoffman is controlling well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Orsini keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Austin leaves Robles with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Austin lands a right hook to the body.
Robles with a lazy takedown attempt and Austin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Robles shoots in and drives through. Austin sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taio Robles. That's going to take a lot out of him. Austin tries to land a leg kick but Robles saw it coming and moves away.
Robles avoids the head kick by Austin.
As Austin looks to move away, Robles throws a big counter combo but Austin just gets out of the way. Austin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Austin wants it to stay on the feet. Robles fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Austin digs a good body shot into Robles's ribs. Kyle Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A clash of legs there as Robles blocks the low kick.#T1# Robles shoots in looking for a takedown. Austin tries to sprawl out of it but Robles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Austin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Austin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Robles. Robles is breathing heavily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Robles. Austin cracks a nice hook into Robles's ribs. Kyle Austin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Austin throws a shot to the body.
Robles takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Austin lands a jab.#ROC2# Robles is rocked! Austin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Robles stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Oh Robles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Austin misses with a low kick. As Austin backs away, Robles returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Austin throws a pinpoint strike between Robles's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Robles crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Austin scores a great knockout victory!

Wilk fails to pull guard.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Shaw tries to pull guard but Wilk holds him up against the cage and eventually Shaw drops back down to his feet.
Wilk is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Shaw is defending well for now. Wilk goes for a takedown attempt but Shaw pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lyman Shaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcin Wilk. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilk misses with a head kick.
Shaw throws a counter high kick but Wilk was just alert enough to avoid it. Wilk fails to land the takedown. A quick step to the side and Shaw tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Shaw throws a sloppy head kick and Wilk moves out of range easily. #T1# Shaw moves out of range as Wilk throws a body kick.

Will he get it? Shaw is fending him off so far but Wilk persists. Nope, Shaw circles away and we're back to standing. Wilk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shaw paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wilk shoots in but Shaw avoids the takedown attempt easily. Shaw is looking for a counter combo. Wilk will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wilk looks winded! Wilk misses with a takedown attempt - Shaw sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Shaw shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Shaw misses with a jab, cross combination.

Shaw misses with a short punch on the inside. Shaw keeps control of Wilk as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Shaw tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wilk smiles and moves away.
Shaw closes the distance and clinches up with Wilk, looking for a takedown. Shaw pushes Wilk against the cage but Wilk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wilk lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Shaw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shaw somewhat. Wilk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wilk lands with a short head shot on the inside. Shaw can't find room to land a body shot as Wilk controls the action.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Flynn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Flynn wants to pass to mount but York is defending the position. Flynn is trying to control the action in half guard but York is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
