Pereira taking a breather here. Worner trying his best to control but Pereira has mounted him.#T1# The referee warns Worner that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pereira controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Worner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Downs quickly recovers to half guard.#ES# Downs has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Midoriya is on him like a limpet, forcing Downs back against the cage. Downs is trying to force a seperation but Midoriya has the dominant position.#TD2# Midoriya has hold of one of Downs's legs. Downs is fighting the takedown attempt but Midoriya gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.#ES# Downs kicks Midoriya off and gets to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#TD2# Midoriya throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Downs tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Midoriya is in Downs's guard.#ES# Downs pushes Midoriya off and scrambles back to his feet.

Downs was covering up waiting for the punch and Midoriya finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES# Downs has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Perro.
