Pasticcio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nielsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nielsen throws a strike aimed at the side of Pasticcio's head but Pasticcio avoids it well. Nielsen trying to control the position but Pasticcio is working away. Pasticcio is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nielsen connects with a decent elbow. Nielsen trying to control the action but Pasticcio is working from the bottom. Nielsen in side control, throwing shots but Pasticcio defends. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Nielsen flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Nielsen is out cold! Pasticcio holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Rekve is pressed up against the cage. Kerr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rekve down to the mat. Rekve avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #TD2# Rekve shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kerr is trying to defend but Rekve finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Rekve controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Kerr wants to control but Rekve passes into side.

Perry misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Mogensen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mogensen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Ramirez throws a half hearted mid kick. Ramirez throws a right and a left that both miss. Mogensen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mogensen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ramirez as he jumps to the side. Mogensen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And Ramirez counters with a quick kick to the body but Mogensen blocks it. Nielsen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nielsen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ratliff checks it well. Ratliff lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Nielsen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ratliff sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nielsen somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Nielsen shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
