Perry throws a leg kick #TD# and Marsh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Marsh wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving. Marsh could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Marsh working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. #SUB2# Perry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Marsh trying to stand up but can't free himself from Perry's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perry seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Marsh distracts Perry with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#T1# Marsh content to stall in guard here. Marsh works over Perry with some ground and pound from guard. Tong can't keep his opponent in guard - Black advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tong keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #SUB# Black is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tong is just riding it out for now. Black eventually gives up the hold. Black throwing shots but Tong is blocking nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tong trying to control here.
Tong is looking for a sweep. Black is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tong avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Black. Black sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tong defending well though. #T1# Black seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. #SUB# Black maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tong could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Black has cracked it and Tong is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Black!

Marcone throws a head kick that Bishop semi-blocks.
#CUT2# It looks like Jake Bishop has been cut. Marcone jabs Bishop to the body, keeping him at a distance.#CL# Bishop closes the distance and clinches. Marcone is trying to break the clinch but Bishop has him pressed against the cage. #BC2# Marcone breaks the clinch.
Bishop fails to land the takedown. Bishop swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Marcone scores with a jab.#CL# Bishop clinches with his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bishop tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marcone smiles and moves away.

Bishop fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Marcone looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Bishop. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Bishop shoots in for a double leg but Marcone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Marcone throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bishop. Bishop has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bishop there as he acknowledges the shot.#ROC2# Bishop is rocked! We've been informed that Marcone has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Look low, kick high! Marcone uses the oldest trick in the book to send Bishop tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Marcone is absolutely delighted - when Bishop wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

#R1# Kidd cracks Perry with a right hand to the side of the head.#CUT2# It looks like Mike Perry has been cut. Perry goes for a double leg but Kidd avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kidd continues to drive forward.#CL2# Kidd has managed to clinch.
Perry wants to break free but Kidd has control.
Perry tries to pull guard but Kidd forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Kidd scores with a hook to the body. Still in the clinch, Kidd scores with a nice short uppercut. Kidd lands on the inside with an uppercut. #ROC2# Perry is rocked! Kidd lands a big right hand that drops Perry! The killer instinct kicks in and Kidd finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Kidd!

#R1# Zimmerman throws a quick inside leg kick. #CL# Zimmerman has closed the distance and engaged Shield in a clinch.
Shield is trying to push Zimmerman away but Zimmerman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Shield takes a shot to the head. #BC# Zimmerman breaks the clinch.
#KD# Zimmerman drops Shield with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shield looks back up at him and smiles so Zimmerman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Zimmerman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shield circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Zimmerman. Shield falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Zimmerman!

Tong is breathing heavily. A solid leg kick lands there for Penn.
Tong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Penn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Penn cracks Tong with a right hand to the side of the head.#CUT2# It looks like Ben Tong has been cut.#KD2# Penn sends Tong crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Penn is motioning to the referee to let Tong up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC2# Tong is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! An inside leg kick lands from Penn. Oh Tong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Penn chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Papin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shield. That did some damage! Papin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A good leg kick by Papin. Papin lands a glancing blow to the side of Shield's head. Shield takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Papin throws a leg kick which misses Shield's front leg but catches the back leg as Shield tries to avoid it. Shield shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Papin as he avoids it easily. Papin connects with a leg kick. Shield looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. #KD# Papin lands a big right hand that sends Shield crashing to the mat! Papin stays standing though and waves Shield back to his feet!#ROC# Shield is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Walter Shield has been cut. Shield's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Papin connects with a leg kick. Shield looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Papin cracks Shield on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Shield falls backwards against the cage. Papin follows up with more strikes that drop Shield to his knees. Papin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Shield! This one is all over!

Bishop is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Schweidler with a body shot. Rene Schweidler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bishop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bishop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Schweidler stuns Bishop with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bishop takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
#CUT# It looks like Jake Bishop has been cut. Schweidler changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bishop looks winded! Schweidler throws a powerful right kick. The crowd cheers as Maromigo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Perry doesn't seem phased though. Perry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maromigo swivels and escapes.#TD2# Maromigo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Perry napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Perry tries to buck Maromigo off but Maromigo is having none of it. Shield uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Duarte. Duarte throws a lazy right hand but Shield sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Shield throws a right and a left that Duarte avoids nicely. Shield shoots in but Duarte avoids the takedown attempt easily. Some bone on bone action there as Shield checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Shield is looking to clinch. Shield is aggressively charging in as Duarte backs up avoiding any damage. Duarte tosses out a jab and Shield runs right into it face first! Shield is out cold! Duarte dropped down on all fours and is barking in Shield's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Clavet has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bishop goes for a double leg but Clavet avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Clavet continues to drive forward. Bishop slips under a jab.
