#R1##TD2# Simms closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ford to the mat! Ford manages to get full guard. Simms controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ford throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Ford trying to control the position.
Simms stands and throws Ford's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ford is not content to let Simms control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee asks Simms politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Simms prefers to stall for the moment though.#T1# Ford stops Simms from passing to mount. Green is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Boi is in close to Green's body, working some short punches and elbows. Boi works a leg free and moves into half guard. Boi keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.#SUB# Green is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boi pulls his head out easily.
