The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Makarov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gomes tries to avoid it but Makarov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gomes to the ground. Gomes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
