#R1# Dillard dives in and grabs Dellon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dellon pushes down on Dillard's head and hops out. Dillard fails with a takedown attempt. Dellon misses with a double jab
#TD# and Dillard counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dillard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dillard is looking to stand up but Dellon won't let him. Dellon trying to keep a closed guard but Dillard is proving a slippery customer.
Dillard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dillard is looking to stand up but Dellon won't let him. Dellon has momentary wrist control but Dillard slips an elbow through the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dellon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dillard manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dellon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dillard throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Dillard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dellon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dillard somewhat. Dillard sets himself, and Dellon steps forward looking for the clinch! Dillard avoids it this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Winfred Dillard. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Dellon shoots in and bounces Dillard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dillard is wriggling around but Dellon manages to pass to half guard.

Dellon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dillard looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dellon trying to control the position from guard on top but Dillard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB# Dillard is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Dellon has his hands clasped together but Dillard extends and breaks Dellon's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dillard.
