Newman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tonte sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Newman. Tonte feints the counter takedown.#TD# Tonte gets caught flat footed, as Newman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tonte wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tonte keeps trying to improve his position. That was a close round but I would say that Kip Newman will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Right on cue, Driscol cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
