Jakua is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Roach working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Roach sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jakua is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Jakua sneaks back into half guard. Roach thows a huge punch but Jakua dodges it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dudley pushes Roach away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Roach gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Roach working the ground and pound from side control. Ralf Iversen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Hjung is looking to stand up but Roach won't let him. Roach wants to get back to his feet but Hjung is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hjung engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hjung slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hjung slows the pace down. The ground and pound from Hjung seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. #T1# Hjung is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hjung in side control, throwing shots but Roach defends. Hjung is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Roach's shoulder. That is not cool. Hjung wants to control but Roach is keeping him busy. Hjung tries to stand but Roach is controlling his head. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
