A nice inside leg kick there by Alexander. That's going to slow Coffey down. Phoenix Alexander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice jab there from Alexander. Coffey misses with a takedown attempt letting Alexander counter with a right hand. #CL2# Alexander fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Coffey, pushing him back against the cage.#BC2# Alexander's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. and Ming counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ming misses with a straight left. Jab from Rivera. Ming is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Heath has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Lloyd throws a right hand that Heath ducks under and follows up with a left that Heath also avoids with ease. Heath swings for the body but Lloyd moves out of range.
