The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dheeb swats him away and circles back towards the center. #TD#
Dheeb changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thomas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Thomas is trying to get back to half guard.
Dheeb scores with a couple of short elbows.
Thomas tries to improve position but can't.
Dheeb wants to control but Thomas is keeping him busy.

Thomas is rocked!
Dheeb lands a big left to the face of Thomas, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Dheeb and another - Thomas is out! Dheeb stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Waleed Dheeb!
A relieved looking Waleed Dheeb thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

McGriff misses with a hook. Sure ducked under it nicely.
Sure throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
McGriff throws a body kick that misses.
Sure throws a quick counter head kick but McGriff was just out of range.
Sure swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McGriff pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sure feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Sure looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McGriff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sure scores with a one two! McGriff had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. #KD#
Sure lands a big head kick that sends McGriff tumbling to the mat! Sure takes a step backwards and waves McGriff back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC#
McGriff is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sure throws out a powerful jab.
McGriff is still on wobbly legs! Can Sure finish him?
Sure drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks McGriff right on the button. McGriff goes down! Sure follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Sure gets the win via TKO!

Ellard drops McGriff onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! McGriff is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!#ROC#

It looks like Tyrone McGriff has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ellard mutters something to McGriff before pushing him back against the cage. As McGriff comes back towards him, Ellard unloads a hook from the very depths of hell that knocks McGriff clean out! Oh. My. God. That is some seriously brutal stuff right there! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nudd Ellard!

Toone pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fatu back to the cage. Toone follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.#TD#
Toone looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Toone looking to sit in guard and control but Fatu gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB#
Toone has momentary wrist control but Fatu slips an elbow through the middle.
Fatu pushes down on Toone's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fatu wants to control but Toone is keeping him busy.
Fatu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fatu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Fatu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Toone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mcgee content to slow the pace in the clinch.
A body shot lands from Mcgee.
Mcgee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Besnar working hard to break the clinch.
Mcgee lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Mcgee struggles to land a body shot inside as Besnar controls his hands.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcgee is pushing Besnar up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Besnar looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mcgee has picked Besnar up and slammed him! Besnar can't keep hold of the triangle and Mcgee manages to pass to side control!

Mcgee appears to be looking for a big counter.

Besnar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mcgee stacks Besnar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mcgee!

Mcgee is looking to cinch up a triangle. Besnar throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mcgee's body to avoid the submission. Mcgee has instead reached around Besnar's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mcgee arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Thomas is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and May defends it well.
