Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Carl Andersson! Carl Andersson is the new featherweight champion! After the fight, Carl Andersson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. Barry Bulstruskovich spoke after the fight, saying 'fuck'. |

Durst with a poor takedown and Kaynux counters with a left and a right that stings Durst. Durst misses with a takedown and Kaynux counters with a two punch combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fred Durst. That's going to take a lot out of him. Durst tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Durst is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kaynux. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kaynux lands with a slapping head kick. Durst misses with a takedown attempt - Kaynux sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hunter fails in his attempt to clinch. Hunter swats away the attempt to clinch by Josefi. Horrible takedown attempt by Josefi or perhaps it was just good defense by Hunter, which made it look bad. Josefi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hunter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Josefi shoots for a double leg takedown but Hunter sprawls well. He's pushed Josefi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Josefi. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter closes the distance and clinches up with Josefi, looking for a takedown. Hunter pushes Josefi against the cage but Josefi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hunter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. Nope, Theeh circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Josefi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
