Taylor shoots for a takedown but Mcbride saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mcbride stuffs the takedown. Taylor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mcbride counters with a nice uppercut. Simon Mcbride has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Taylor. Taylor misses with a takedown attempt and Mcbride counters with a nice low kick that buckles Taylor's knee momentarily. Nice sprawl there from Mcbride as Taylor shoots in. Taylor looks winded! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taylor dives in for a single leg takedown but Mcbride sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mcbride lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. #R1##KD2# Nice combo by Van Basten! Oh, that's hurt him - Mcbride falls to the canvas and Van Basten follows him into side control. #CUT2# It looks like Simon Mcbride has been cut. Van Basten tries to stand but Mcbride is controlling his head. Mcbride gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Van Basten wants to stand up but Mcbride manages to regain full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Van Basten wants to get up but he can't break Mcbride's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mcbride is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Jenkins pushes Bradley against the cage but Bradley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#CL2# Jenkins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jenkins tries to land knees in the clinch but Bradley avoids the damage to the body. Bradley on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Despite the aggression on Jenkins's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Ben Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Decent striking displayed by Bradley there. Jenkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bradley tries to avoid it but Jenkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bradley to the ground.
