#R1##TD2# Lyon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ortega's guard.#SUB# Ortega is looking for a triangle but Lyon pushes his legs off easily.
Ortega utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lyon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ortega is looking to stand up but Lyon isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lyon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Lyon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lyon trying to move into half guard but instead Ortega has managed to sweep!#REVR# Ortega has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ortega trying to control but Lyon is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Lyon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ortega stopping the sweep attempt from Lyon.#T1##SUB2# Ortega avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
#SUB2# Lyon is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ortega rolls with it to try and escape but Lyon cranks on the arm and Ortega is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jac Lyon! Jumping up and down and very excited, Jac Lyon waved his t-shirt featuring King Nutrition 's logo in front of the cameras.

#R1# Rees displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from UnBowed. A left lands for UnBowed.#CUT2# It looks like Geraint Rees has been cut. Rees takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. UnBowed sizes up Rees with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Rees shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and UnBowed counters with a straight right hand. Rees shoots in and drives through. UnBowed sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rees closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Rees tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but UnBowed defends well and Rees ends up having to push UnBowed into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. UnBowed swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geraint Rees. That's going to take a lot out of him. UnBowed drops Rees with a straight right hand, right on the button! UnBowed follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). I Am UnBowed! I Am UnBowed decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
