It seemed like Johnson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Lee pulls Johnson in close to his closed guard and prevents Johnson from doing any damage or advancing position. Lee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Lee wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Smithson is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Harmon trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Smithson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harmon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smithson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Harmon throws a couple of heel strikes.
