Acevedo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Racing missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Racing wants to stand but Acevedo has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Acevedo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Acevedo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Racing must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Acevedo has Racing pulled in close to control his posture. #T4# A few boos can be heard. King Racing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bobby has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. It looked like Bobby was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Bobby misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

#TD# Bobby closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bobby in side control lands a decent elbow. #SUB# Bobby has hold of Salazar's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Salazar tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bobby cranks the arm and Salazar screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Salazar, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Racing wants to get back to striking at distance but Smith won't allow it.
Smith lands a shot to the body. Smith has Racing pushed against the cage. Smith scores with a hook to the body.#BC# Racing breaks the clinch.
Racing takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Smith throws a series of punches but Racing moves out of range. Smith lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Racing at a distance.
Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Racing shoots and misses and Smith counters with a two punch combo. Smith scores with a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Racing gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.#CUT2# It looks like King Racing has been cut. Racing walks into a left hand. #ROC2# Racing is rocked! Smith drops Racing with a straight right hand, right on the button! Smith follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
