Daniels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Floy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Daniels defends well and Floy ends up having to push Daniels into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Daniels tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Floy manages to circle out of the way. Daniels wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A head kick misses from Daniels. #T1# Daniels closes the distance looking to clinch and Floy counters with a nice body shot. Daniels is looking to clinch. Floy is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Daniels shoots in for a takedown but Floy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Floy is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Floy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Daniels throws a nice head kick!

We've been informed that Floy has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. A head kick misses from Daniels. Daniels shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Floy but Floy pushes him off and we're back to square one. He's pushed Floy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Daniels could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. #R1# Alvis wants to clinch. Court looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD2# Court feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SU2# Court gets to his feet. Alvis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Alvis misses with a takedown attempt - Court sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alvis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Court tries to avoid it but Alvis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Court to the ground. Court escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Court looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Alvis. Alvis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Court is controlling him. #CL# and Flag counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Flag. Flag scores with a shot to the side of Sharp's head. Sharp can't find room to land a body shot as Flag controls the action.
Flag is struggling to control the position. Sharp has had enough of the clinch but Flag keeps him there for the moment. Flag lands with a left to the head. Flag lands a right hand. Flag cracks Sharp with a nice body shot. Flag softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Flag lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A shot in the inside from Flag. Flag lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sharp or not. Flag content to slow the pace in the clinch.
