Williamson tries to close the distance and clinch but Hopkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hopkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body.#CL2# Hopkins closes the distance and clinches. #BC2# Hopkins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Williamson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Williamson throws a push kick but Hopkins slaps the foot to one side. Williamson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A bone on bone clash there as Williamson blocks the leg kick.
Williamson tried to score with a low kick but Hopkins checks it. Hopkins throws the kick towards the body but Williamson avoids it. Williamson throws a quick counter kick to the body but Hopkins avoids it.#TD2# Hopkins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#T3# Hopkins wants to stand but Williamson has his arm trapped. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hopkins working the body and head with strikes. Hopkins tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. And that's the end of the fight! Dangelo Hopkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hopkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
