It will also be interesting to see what tactics Drake uses from the top position. Drake wants to stand but Robertson is controlling his posture from full guard. Drake landing with the ground and pound. Robertson trying to control the position.
Robertson has a closed guard, preventing Drake from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Robertson is striking off his back. Drake thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Robertson is looking for a sweep. Jon Drake dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Drake could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Drake is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Drake back to the cage. Walker follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Nice shot lands for Walker. Walker bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Drake's head. Walker with a hook. Walker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Drake. Drake circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Walker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Drake's head backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters circle momentarily. Walker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Drake takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Meyers tries to break the clinch but DeNarco is controlling the position. #TD2# DeNarco pulls guard. Meyers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. DeNarco seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Meyers is looking to work some ground and pound but DeNarco has wrist control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. DeNarco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Meyers throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as DeNarco works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Floy uses from the top position. #SUB# Hopper working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Floy has passed into half guard!
Floy scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Hopper moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Floy lands a couple of digs. Floy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Floy won't allow Hopper to sweep him here. Floy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hopper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Floy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. #SUB# Floy throws a sloppy strike and Hopper has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully!
